Consultations take place on the Lake Victoria Basin Integrated Water Resources Management (LVB IWRM) Strategy

The Integrated Water Resources Management Programme Consultant (IPC) has completed the Draft Situation Analysis chapter of the LVB IWRM Strategy. During country consultation meetings held in Uganda and Rwanda in late 2021, the Situation Analysis findings were presented for discussion and feedback was obtained from national stakeholders. Similar consultations are planned for the three remaining Partner States of Tanzania, Kenya, and Burundi in the first quarter of year 2022. In addition, a series of bilateral interviews, which started in December last year until February 2022 are being held with key respondents from Partner States, Regional Institutions and Development Partners.
