National Consultative Meeting in Kisumu

A three-day national consultative meeting organized by the LVBC’s IWRM Programme took place between the 23rd and 25th February 2022 in Kisumu, Kenya. National Stakeholders from the relevant government institutions in charge of water and environment management were consulted and informed on the LVB IWRM strategy development, the call for new investment projects, and the development and exploration of the LVB Water Information System that will potentially be linked to National Water Information Systems in the Partner States. Participants also visited the Kisumu High Priority Investment Project area, Manyatta A, an informal settlement in Kisumu.
