As the globe marks World Earth Day, it is time to focus on taking Climate Action. The Lake Victoria Basin Integrated Water Resources Management Programme is striving to come up with solutions to protect Lake Victoria from natural and human induced challenges. Declining fish stocks, deforestation, pollution and flooding which wreaks havoc on communities are some of the challenges faced.
