What’s in store for the Lake Victoria Basin Integrated Water Resources Management Programme for 2022

​Four High Priority Investments in wastewater collection and treatment are being designed and prepared for procurement by the Lake Victoria Basin Commission in close collaboration with national Water and Sanitation Service Providers from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. It is expected that first construction works may start early 2023. In parallel, a pipeline of new investment projects is being developed, which will be ready for further study and resource mobilisation from 2023 onwards.
