The total budget for the current phase (Phase I) of the project is € 31.9 million of which € 20 million is made available by the Government of Germany through the German Development Bank KfW.

Co-funded by the European Union

​​The European Union has made a total of € 8.9 million available. From this budget the EU will fund the Communication and Visibility activities of the LVB IWRM Programme to the tune of € 400,000.

Local contribution

The Partner States will make € 3 million available as local contribution for costs related to the High Priority Investments (HPI’s).
